Promoting responsible development through sustainable construction.

We are committed to integrating sustainable construction materials and methods into our projects that respect our community and our environment.

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating Systems, developed by the Unites States Green Building Council (USGBC) are the primary internationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of energy efficient and environmentally responsible green buildings.  LEED provides information and tools to owners that they can utilize to have an immediate and measureable sustainable impact on the value and performance of their buildings.

Gray Construction Services, Inc. (GCSI) provides support and guidance to clients in an effort to meet their goals for sustainability and environmental stewardship.  For owners who choose to pursue LEED certification for their projects, GCSI offers continuous support through the design process, monitoring and documentation in the construction phase, and qualification of LEED credit documentation.  Based upon the needs of the owner, we can act as the administrator of the LEED certification process or support the design team in the management of the certification effort.

For projects designated for LEED certification, or those for which the owner choses to incorporate sustainable aspects but not pursue LEED, GCSI will act as a resource for techniques and ideation that will incorporate sensible and sustainable elements that increase quality and consider value of investment.  At GCSI, we believe that sustainability is intelligent construction that maximizes value, efficiency, and service life.
